Hi everyone! I heard about Blog on the news yesterday and figured hey if someone else can do it so can I.

I am a little down, due to the fact that my family has tryed and tryed to get ahead in our life and cant seem to do it. If you are wondering what I mean by that, I mean money.

Let me tell you a little about myself, my family and my situation.

I am a regular woman who has worked all my life. I served 10 years in the Military and am very proud of that. I have five beautiful children, who are my world and my life. I have a wonderful husband who is the best thing that ever happened to me.

I decided after 10 years of Military life that it was time for a change. I got out and wanted to be with my kids for awhile. That didnt last long though because going from two incomes too one income about killed us. We had to file bankrupcy to get rid of alot of debt. I ended up going back to school because in the profession I was in (administration) nobody wanted to hire me because everyone felt that I was too experienced for them. So I went back to school and got my Diploma in Medical Assisting. I was so excited about that, and the career change was great. I went to work immediately out of school. But then my husband had to retire out of the Military after 20 years. And low and behold he cant get a job to save his life because everyone thinks he is over qualified for them. Sound familiar :(....So he stays at home with the kids. That doesnt pay the bills but it saves on daycare right.

At this point in time, I am working four jobs to make ends meat. Yes, you heard me correctly, four jobs. And believe it or not, we still have a hard time paying the basic Utilities to live. I am just wondering which one will be shut off first. I have to figure out month to month which bill I will pay that month and which one I will let go. Pretty sad isnt it?

The really sad part about all this, is we live in a three bedroom townhouse. My children all share rooms, and my husband and I sleep in the basement so that all the kids have rooms. We found this awesome house that we really want to get, that will fit all of us in it, but we are having trouble getting financed because of that bankrupcy that we had. We have doctor bills that keep piling up because we have one child who has disabilities and insurance wont cover them.

I have done everything to try and get ahead except for prostitution and dealing drugs. I dont know where else to turn. So I thought I would turn to the web. I have thought about asking the public for help but that is one of the hardest things that I have ever done. I went to Job and Family Services and asked them for help but they said I make 400 dollars too much for them to help me. Isnt that just grand.

So I guess I will put it out there, and hopefully not make anyone mad for asking for a little bit of help. If anyone wants to contribute to our needs, I would be forever grateful. I would be happy if I could just get 10 or 20 dollars for people. At least that will help pay those hospital bills coming in.
